What information do we collect?

We collect information about experts in the Turku region’s cultural sector, hereinafter referred to as “Expert”.
The register only collects the information provided by the Expert. The Expert can access, modify, or delete their information in the operator register at any time.

Why are personal data processed and on what basis?

Personal data is processed to compile the expert network of the Culture Campus.
The processing of register information is based on the explicit consent of the Expert.

How is information stored?

Access to and the right to process and maintain register information is only granted to a few representatives of Turku Science Park. All information in the expert register is public and visible on the Culture Campus website.

Personal data is stored for the entire existence of the expert register, unless the Expert removes their information themselves or requests its deletion. However, the register administrator reserves the right to delete the Expert’s information from the register if the Expert behaves inappropriately in the communication and events of the Culture Campus Turku. The administrator may also request periodic checks of the information, for example, every three years. If the Expert does not check the data, it can be deleted.

Who processes personal data?

Personal data is processed by a few employees of Turku Science Park Oy.

What rights does the data subject have?

As a data subject, you have:
• the right to inspect your personal data contained in the register
• the right to request rectification, updating or erasure of personal data
• the right to receive a copy of your personal data;

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time.

When you wish to exercise your rights as a data subject, you must address a written request to the controller tietosuoja@turkubusinessregion.com. The request must be sufficiently specific to be processed in accordance with the defined process.
